On 11 December, the yearly Erasmus+ Sport Info Day was held by the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium.
With more than 200 participants from the sport sector across Europe, the Sport Info Day provides a platform for learning about the future of the Erasmus+ program and the EU priorities at large, addressing how they connect to funding and sport.
The event is also a forum for organizations to meet, exchange ideas, and collaborate on project development. Represented by Board Member Jacqueline Kronenburg (Knowledge Centre for Sport and Physical Activity, Netherlands) and Head of Operations Gaëtan Garcia, TAFISA met up with several member organizations and partners to exchange on common objectives.
Following the public consultation for the preparation of the Commission Communication: "A Strategic Vision for Sport in Europe: Reinforcing the European Sport Model," the gathering provided a space for participants to discuss and share feedback on sport priorities in Europe, the future of funding, and the European Sport Model at large.
The various calls under Erasmus Sport will open from 18 December 2025 to 5 March 2026 and feature Cooperation Partnerships, Small-scale partnerships, Not-for-profit European sport events, and Capacity Building in the Field of Sport. More information .
